It’s with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of the Southern Farm Table Restaurant! It’s been a great run for 12 years and we have enjoyed immense success and have had a wonderful experience. We have met so many amazing people and have made friends with so many that have become like family to myself and the staff. It was Always our goal to Provide an authentic southern experience and quality in our food and atmosphere to our guests. I believe that Small businesses are the backbone of any community and can be one of the greatest assets available to a community and the importance of supporting them cannot be understated, and we appreciate all of the support we have received over the years.
As a destination restaurant we have met people literally from all over the world and of course almost every state. We have watched families grow and watched their children come in as toddlers and eat the farm vegetables with their little hands and then grow up to bring their friends and family back driving their own car. There is a very special feeling when we have been able to share memories and Life’s ups and downs with so many! Southern people are really one big family! We cannot thank you all enough for the support and your patronage! We are truly blessed and thankful for the support and friendship! It’s been a great ride! We have had some incredible hard working staff members over the years and for that we are truly grateful. Although retiring from business I will Personally be pursuing some ministry opportunities and doing some business consulting and am looking forward in doing so. The business real estate and equipment is For Sale as a package and would be a great turn- key (ready to run) opportunity for someone wanting to continue the concept that we have operated or pursue a different path. Our sales have not been in decline and the business has seen good growth and patronage. There are still tremendous opportunities for an operator who would want to be open more hours (we were only open 11 hours a week!)
